The NRCC’s expenditures for the day:
MS-01: $18,054 spent on phone banking against Democrat Travis Childers. Total spent to date: MS-01: $292,194 | LA-06: $120,194
The DCCC’s expenditures for the day:
MS-01: $14,809 on producing and airing an ad against Republican Greg Davis.
LA-06: $2,230 on field organizing for Democrat Don Cazayoux, and $6,175 on producing an ad against Woody Jenkins. Total spent to date: MS-01: $141,386 | LA-06: $331,213
…now counter it with some phone banking for Travis Childers!
but I’m getting really Psyched about Childers.
I dunno why I should be, he’s not stellar on anything. I think it’s just that he comes off as a really “good” guy. I look forward to seeing how his race finishes, hopefully with a win fro him.
The RNC chipped in vigorously during the 2006 campaign, spending over $240 million. They are nowhere to be found in these races. In fact, other than the NRCC, only the Club For Growth has contributed on the Republican side and that has been small ($10,616.87 on 4/1 and $4597.04 om 3/14).
The RNC is sitting on $25 million.
I want to see more outside polling in these races. The internals are cool, but they’re always going to show your ahead (otherwise you’re unwise to release them).
